Vision
The Knowledge Institute is a leading international scholarly center that examines the lifecycle of knowledge in professional organizations, institutions, and communities. Through the understanding of people, processes and technologies it fosters the transformation of work and social contexts in the creation, sharing and use of knowledge. The Knowledge Institute is centered at the
School of Communication and Information,
Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.
Goals
- Conduct high quality collaborative research with faculty, students,
and research partners within and beyond the Rutgers.
- Provide opportunities to apply research into practice.
- Seek and build partnerships with American and international scholars
in the area of knowledge management.
- Seek funding for sustainability and scholarships.
- Involve SCILS students in as many projects and activities as possible.
- Partner with New Jersey organizations in research and professional
development.
